I found my way back to Plaza Armas with the kids. Plaza Armas is the Central Park of the old city. It is really pretty. It is surrounded by a beautiful, enormous church on one side, and by arches with little stores and restaurants inside on the other sides.

Ciaran and Aodhan tried unsuccessfully to catch a pigeon for half an hour. An old man sitting near us feeding the pigeons, caught one for the boys and they were delighted.
