Lima. The port where the APEC summit was going on. We found out when we arrived, that the APEC summit did not actually start for a few days so the city was in good shape for getting around. We found a van to take our group to Pachacamac. These pre-Incan are ruins were inhabited from 200AD to 1533AD. We had a really nice guided tour. The grounds are quite extensive and we drove from site to site to look at various excavations. The last excavation site was the large pyramid. Later we visited Huaca Pucllana which has a pyramid which was built in 400 A.D, and is situated tight inside the city of Lima. After we drove through the city and back to the ship.
